Statistics

The Kokari team have been learning a lot about gathering and presenting information using graphs. We are really good at Tally graphs and we can present that same information as a Bar graph.

Last week we went outside to watch the traffic on busy Woodham Road.

We split in to two groups.

Room 10 counted the bigger vehicles - trucks, vans, buses, 4wheel-drive vehicles and others.

Room 9 counted the cars according to colour - red, green, blue, silver, black, white and others.

After that we went inside and worked with a buddy to presnt our information as a Bar graph in our Maths books.
