Kite Day

Last Friday March 27th the whole school took part in Kite Day.
We made our kites using a kit. That part was quite tricky but we got there after some thinking, planning and team work.
Everyone went out to fly our kites.
That was so much fun!!!!!!

Getting ready to fly our Kites

Air space became very crowded!

We had fun trying to see whose kite went the highest.
Kite flying is a very intense activity!
After Kite flying the Kokari Team went out to take part in a Cricket Tournament.

Home Learning

Thank you to all the parents / caregivers and whanau who helped the children to work on their Home Learning Challenges. Five of the completed challenges have been given to Ms Smith for her feedback. Those children will earn Morning Tea with Ms Smith.

Week 9
This is the last week of the first term. As a reward for all of their hard work this term we are going to have a Home Learning Holiday! No Spelling or Maths this week BUT the children do still need to read at home every night.
