It is an expectation that all children in Room 9 read at home EVERY night, record this in their notebook and to return their notebooks, signed by an adult, to school every day.
Sadly, only nine children fulfill this requirement each day.
The children do not have to read a book from school. They can read from one of their own favourite books, the newspaper, an e-book or a story on the Storybird site.
Last week we had a Literacy evening at school.
This is the Reading presentation from that night for those of you who were unable to attend.
