Creative Learners in Room 9

We have been creating pages for calendars for 2017. We chose to draw a self portrait. Mrs Geal helped us to do this step by step. It's not as easy as we thought it would be!

1. We sketched our picture using an art pencil - very softly.

2. We decided which colours to use to match our skin colour, eye colour and hair colour.

3. We used crayon to colour our portrait.

4. When we had finished Mrs Geal coloured over our artwork with blue dye to make the background more vibrant.
